About Us

Lone Wolf Ranch is proudly owned and operated by Deb Powers, Lisa Bork, and Lauren Bork. In 2014, the ranch was relocated to its current location in Westminster, Maryland. The ranch is a beautiful 65 acres located in the rolling hills of northern Carroll County. Our mission is to raise and show world caliber  hunter under saddle, western pleasure, and all around horses.

Deb Powers is the farm manager and trainer at Lone Wolf Ranch. She specializes in Hunter Under Saddle Western Pleasure, and All-Around Events. Her program has produced countless World, Honor Roll, Zone, and Futurity Champions. Our show team competes at APHA, AQHA, PtHA, and POA events as well as at Open and Hunter shows. Check out our current team  on the Showstring page.

Currently in 2016, team members are leading the APHA Open and Master's Amateur Top 20, the Open and Master's Amateur Zone 7, numerous individual Honor Rolls, and Second in the Classic Amateur and Master's Amateur Zone 7.

Each year, Lone Wolf Ranch produces a selection of top quality show prospects. Foals from the past few years have gone on to earn world titles, numerous ROMs and Superiors, as well as countless futurity titles. We are committed to improving the horse industry through very selective breeding to produce high quality babies. We have a great selection of top quality broodmares which are bred each year to some of the best sires in the industry. Quality prospects are always available for your consideration.

Lone Wolf Ranch also stands two great stallions - The Gentlemens Club and Troubles A Brewing. Check out their individual pages listed at the top of this page.

The Gentlemens Club's first foals are two year olds in 2017 and have done extremely well in the show ring. Six have shown APHA, collectively earning 8 ROMs, over 150 points, and multiple futurity wins. We are excited to start seeing his foals under saddle in 2017.

Lessons and boarding are also available at our beautiful facility. The 38 stall barn has 12 x 12 matted stalls with automatic waterers in each stall. There is a double wash rack with hot and cold water. The barn is heated to 50 degrees in the winter time. There are numerous individual turn out lots, many with run-in sheds, and all with lush grass. We have a 115 x 200 out door arena complete with jumps and trail obstacles, an indoor arena, a grass arena with jumps, as well as a 60 ft round pen with an 8 ft solid wood fence.
